[:cs]Konzervátorský zásah u dvou dveří z bývalé krajské věznice na ulici Cejl v Brně z tzv. cel smrti, kde čekaly na smrt oběti totalitních režimů. Obě dveře jsou pokryty nápisy odsouzených, které byly pečlivě zdokumentovány. Na dveřích byl proveden technologický a stratigrafický průzkum, který odhalil složení povrchové úpravy a přibližné stáří použitých prvků. Obě dveře byly šetrně očištěny vodou s mýdlem, praskliny byly zaceleny tmelem a volné části přilepeny klihem. Následně byly zakonzervovány kovové části tanátem a povrch dřeva směsí přírodních vosků. Během manipulace s dveřmi byl objeven keramický střep, který nejspíše sloužil k rytí nápisů. Co se týče stáří dveří, tak jedny jsou patrně z doby výstavby káznice v roce 1779 a druhé někdy z konce 19. nebo začátku 20. století, přičemž byly i starší dveře opravovány a otočeny. Proto jsou nápisy na obou stranách.

[:en]Constervation treatment of two doors from former penitentiary in the Cejl street in Brno. This building from age of Maria Theresa was used by nazis and communists after the second world war. These doors belong to so called „cells of death“ where political prisoners waited before the execution. Both doors are covered with inscriptions by prisoners, we precisely documented all of them. We examined the surface and technology and concluded the age of the doors and their parts. Both doors were gently cleaned with soap water, all cracks were filled and loose parts were glued back. Metal parts were conservated with tannate and surface with natural waxes. Accidentally, during the manipulation with doors, small ceramic shard fallen out of edge. This shard was propably used to carve the inscriptions. The age of one door we placed to foundation of the penitentiary in 1779, second door is propably from second half of 19th or beginning of 20th century, while the older door was fliped and repaired. That’s why the inscriptions are on both sides.
